To stop the spread of coronavirus, health and government officials recommend avoiding large gatherings and maintaining a distance of 6 feet from other people. This reduces the chance of contact with those knowingly or unknowingly carrying the infection.

The CDC recommends wearing non-medical, cloth-based face coverings in public settings where social distancing is difficult. Surgical masks should be reserved for healthcare workers.

Social Distancing;  Is this distance of 6 square feet between human beings to have the ability to open the School system of New York.  The balancing of Parents back to work for children to return to schools would have to be a Measurement of the space available.  If it is to be come health and safe for the State of New York to function in a space of 109,806 square miles, with distancing of a population of 19,000,000.45 human beings.

The population of New York would need 114,000,002.7 square feet. There are 579,775,600 square feet in the entire state of NewYork. New York City does not have the space nor the building capacity to make it possible for Social Distancing.  Every  worker and child would need safety coverings of mask and gloves for the entire day can the city provide that?  Is the Governor of New York or any where else being realistic of the facts or just intrested in the economic recovery of the States? 

This would mean that each child would have to have 6 feet between them and everyone, in a school system where 25 to 30 students share a space of 72 by 72 feet in a standard size classroom.  Also hall ways between classes are filled with students. How would social distancing be possible?  I s the Government willing to sacrifice the lives of children and educators to get the country back on its economic feet? Whats more will parents allow this?
