Ellen Wittlinger is the author of over 13 novels for teenagers. In 2000 HARD LOVE was a Printz Honor book and also won the Lambda Literary Award. Many of her books have been ALA Best Books and are on state book lists. BLIND FAITH won the Keystone State Book Award. Her book is PARROTFISH about a female-to-male transgender teenager. In July 2008 a companion novel to HARD LOVE was published called LOVE & LIES: Marisol's Story. THIS MEANS WAR is her most recent novel.
