Healing through Creativity w/ George Robertson

Special guest George Robertson, Musician/Songwriter/Advocate - Healing through Creativity Festival in Bluefield, West Virginia.

George is not a survivor of child abuse, nor is he a survivor of domestic violence, but he knows the fear of having been personally attacked by strangers, wondering what would they do to him next, knowing in your heart you may not even live.

George gives back to this community today as an advocate in many ways. He and his musical talent have been celebrating the Healing through Creativity event for the past 8 years. It is such an honor to interview him, in fact he and a dear poet friend Mary Graziano, took my sad and horrid life, and made it into something magical in music. How awesome to talk with the man who created so many amazing folk rock songs, he & Mary performed 'Dancing Blue Eyes' at the festival this year. 

George is an excellent example of someone who doesn't come from a horrid background but who wants to be part of the change in building a better safer world for everyone.
