Sylvia, columnist for the Mid-Atlantic Grower and Examiner.com newspapers, is a nationally recognized lecturer and workshop instructor. A speaker for 'green' festivals, home & garden shows and Industry conferences, Wright was a featured speaker for the Garden Writers Association conference held in Canada and All Cities Conference held in DC. Specific to the Greater Richmond Area, she offers Garden Strategies for the Hands-on Homeowner through her County’s Adult Ed program and has taught Communications for the Green Industry for VA’s Community Colleges. As a woodland gardener, she is featured by VA Home Grown WCVE Richmond PBS, State by State Gardening and Birds & Blooms magazine.
