Kat (Katherine) lives in San Antonio, Texas. On March 31st 2009 she had emergency brain surgery to remove a grapefruit-sized tumor from the frontal lobe of her brain. She is alive and recovering well despite having been given a very slim chance for survival. In 2009 she had her first show at a gallery since the operation and recovery! Over 25 new pieces were created! Kat is an international visual artist working with mixed-media, assemblage, found-object inspired jewelry...collage and digital art.  Her artwork ranges from digital hybrids, found object art... to unique mixed media pieces as well as unusual one-of-a-kind jewelry.
