Sean Jones a special education 9th grade teacher. He has been teaching for six years. He is a graduate of Morehouse College '98. He is enrolled in Clark Atlanta University's MA Program for African American Studies. He is an avid reader of African/African American history. He is a photographer of Black historical places, events, persons (and oral interviews), art, monuments, plantations, and HBCU campuses. Jones is a board member of ASALH Atlanta. The mission of the ASALH Atlanta Branch is promoting the study of Black History: Bridging the gap between University and youth. We are charged with executing the mission of the National office through our year round programs where we educate, disseminate, and engage the public on all topics surrounding Black life, history, and culture.
Sean Jones is the President (2020) and Charter Member ASALH Atlanta Branch since 2015.
