Tune in to listen to my interview with songwriter, and musician, Robert Marsiglia.

About My Guest:

After a decade of playing trumpet in various bands along the Jersey Shore, Bob founded The Next Generation of Soul in 1997. The Next Generation of Soul performed in nightclubs, saloons, and did many weddings and corporate parties up and down the Mid-Atlantic coast. All secular music at that time, cover only, no originals - rooted in classic R&B, but included other genres including swing, jazz, blues etc.

Around 2007, his Christian faith compelled him to start composing original material, culminating in the release of their first album, "This Ain't No Big Bang" in 2011. From there, his band began performing publicly on a limited basis doing only their original faith based material, leaving the secular music behind. A couple of years after that he wrote a new single, "I'm a Changed Man", and they went back in the studio and recorded it. Instead of releasing it as an audio single, the Holy Spirit compelled him to produce a video of the single. Bob then created a concept for the video, and wrote a script with some wonderful input from a couple of close friends. It took over a year of scouting out locations for the video as he was searching for a specific look and feel. He then hired a professional video production company to film it; Cinecall Productions in Red Bank, NJ, headed by George McMorrow (who directed the video). Bob considers it as another wonderful opportunity to spread the Good News! So far the video has over 20,000 YouTube views since its release in late November!
