Join us as we interview an amazing woman, Lisa J Wood. Lisa is owner of Wood & Company, in Asheville, NC. They are a small family run business with two divisions.
In the first division, they focus on anti-aging and proactive health solutions, products and consulting. We focus on providing education, mentoring and offering healthy solutions to individuals who want to achieve the most optimal state of total wellness of which they are capable of.
In the second division, they focus on art and Interior design services within residential and light commercial arenas. Projects range from simple room re-dos to complete renovations. ArtInUtero is a unique one-of-kind portrait of children in the womb before they are born. This concept was born from the inspiration of becoming a mother.
With my background in health and design, I found a way to bring both passions together. I love helping people look and feel better not only within themselves, but also within beautiful surroundings.
Lisa works with both individuals and groups to show them simple steps to better health. She is interested in consulting one-on-one, speaking engagements, designing corporate wellness programs, collaborating with other health/fitness professionals, and designing to live.
As a wife (of 18 yrs) and a mother of three, Lisa especially understands the body and mental issues women deal with as we "grow" through life. She loves helping women discover their innate skills to maximize a healthy body and image, within their personal and business life, as well as their surroundings.
