Charles T Myers grew up poor in the small southern town of Palatka, FL. His father was an old school Pentecostal evangelist before he died and his mother is a nurse. He has been in the ministry for almost twenty five years. He preached his first at the age of four at a small southern Pentecostal Church in Southeast Georgia; his second sermon at the age of six in an African American Baptist Church in Southwest Georgia. 

He was received into the Anglican Church as a priest in 2008 and served as the assistant priest at St David's Anglican Church for two and half years. In 2011, Fr Charles stepped on faith and planted St Michael's In the City that has become a ministry that plants Eucharistic Communities among the homeless, recovering addicts, the sick and elderly as well as reaching out into diverse neighborhoods all over the Los Angeles/ Orange County area and beyond.
