Convo with David C. Wingfield

Chris Martin interviews stand-up comedian David C. Wingfield on Comedy Conference Call. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia (home of Edgar Allan Poe and the Flying Squirrels), David believes that the funniest stuff happens in everyday life. He is a veteran of the Richmond music scene and a recovering corporate peon. While working in India, David met the girl who reluctantly agreed to become his wife (though the smart money says it was all for a green card). Much to her chagrin, she’s the basis for a lot of his material. Much to his surprise, she hasn’t left him (even though she already has her green card). Though his material is mostly clean, David curses a lot when he’s not performing… especially when he’s out of coffee.
