This is a story that is being played out across the nation. Animal Control shows up & takes your animals. This is my story, I took on a corrupt shelter with BSL & challenged them & trusted the wrong people. It has cost me the life of one of my dogs & almost 60 court appearances later there is no end in sight after 17 months, I still have not seen or gotten an update on the animals they ae still holding hostage, but this story "started" over 12 years ago. I have blogged about this but I am hoping that me explaining it will help people understand more clearly what has happened to me & what is happening all over. Animal laws meant to protect people are being used to abuse people. I wuld also like to explore how we can actually create laws that protect helpless animals & protect people's civil rights... to find the "balance"
