Many citizens are concerned about global warming and sustainability. But all too often people feel at a loss as to how they can make a difference. Learn how residents of a Massachusetts town mobilized efforts on a grass roots level to create powerful change. Today on Intuitive Transformation Radio, Matthew Engel will chat with Rebecca King about how Greening Greenfield began and evolved into a role model town.

Becca King, LICSW, is a retired psychotherapist having worked in private practice and public community mental health agencies for 30 years.  She has focused on transferring her prior work in addictions recovery to her current work with Greening Greenfield, a local citizens energy nonprofit organization (www.greeninggreenfield.org), which addresses the need to get off fossil fuels, reducing carbon emissions and changing our lifestyle to a healthier one more awakened and related to our natural environment  much like a 12 step process. She co-chaired the town’s successful 10% Challenge Campaign helping Greenfield to become the first town in Massachusetts to receive the Green Community designation. She has a strong commitment to building community along the principles of sustainable living, justice and interfaith peace-making and is a member of the Franklin County Interfaith Council.

Matthew Engel is an intuitive counselor, executive abundance coach, hypnotherapist, past life regression therapist, spiritual teacher, writer and Host of Intuitive Transformation Radio.
