What to do when you're not feeling so holly jolly?
This time of year we're invited, nay, commanded to be merry and bright. We want to be, but what if we're not? The busy days, get togethers, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and wrapping can be exhausting. And for a lot of us, the holidays are bittersweet as we remember times past and people we love.
Join us during these long nights for some ideas on how to manage the happy and sad, good and bad that come with the Advent and Christmas seasons.
Again this week we'll feature the music of Minnesota folk musician Peter Mayer, and his song "The Longest Night" from his CD Midwinter.
Join Maria Rodgers O'Rourke at 8:30 p.m. As one caller said:“Maria speaks to my heart. She reaches people on all different levels of their faith journeys, because she talks about spirituality and life in a way that is funny, real and knowledgeable.”
If you can't listen live, download the podcast and take it with you! Prepare Your Heart and Home for a Great Christmas is one way to be sure you get time for yourself at a time of year when everyone else needs you so much, and you'd like to have a great Christmas, too!
