Adoption & Foster Parenting: The Down Low from Those in the

Times, they are a changin’ and the traditional family structure of the 1950’s (two, biological parents in the home) is on the decline according to the latest census. Increasingly common are blended families, families with adopted children, grandparents raising their grandchildren, foster families and families with one parent.

During this hour-long show, Heather and Laura will talk with two women who have adopted or fostered children in the NYC-area. Come listen to them answer the questions about the how’s, why’s, and what’s of raising a non-biological child.
