Scott W. Mosser, MD began his calling in Medicine as a Fulbright Scholar to Ecuador, where he spent a year investigating the Ecuadorian healthcare system. He is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX) and Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH), where he completed his internship and 6 years of comprehensive general and plastic surgery training. His private practice is in the city of San Francisco, where he continues his work as a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon.
In addition to his thriving San Francisco aesthetic surgery practice, Dr. Mosser has two passions within the field of Plastic Surgery. The first is Destination Hope, the medical mission group he founded in 2009. Destination Hope organizes inspiring medical missions each year to repair birth defects in developing countries. Dr. Mosser’s other passion & focus is his involvement within the transgender community. He is inspired to reduce the burden of gender dysphoria by working to provide a liberating surgical result. He is dedicated to serving this community and his office strives to provide the highest compassion & service level possible.
