In this episode we covered the 14.3 Trillion dollar debt and what obstacles are being put forth by members of Congress to prevent President Obama from increasing the debt ceiling in order to prevent the government from shutting down. If no agreement can be reached by June 22 the US govt could lose its top credit rating and social security checks may not be mailed out on Aug. 3.
Also, we talked about the rippling effect this could have on the stock market, unemployment, the global economy and a possible second depression.
