John Corapi: What Happened to Him?

John Corapi was once a powerful preacher in the Catholic Church. He touched many lives with his story of conversion from a life of drugs, sex and other vices. However, in 2011 he was accused of sexual misconduct and other things that seemed to indicate that he relapsed into old drug habits. His order suspended him pending the investigation.  In response, Corapi left and ignored the calls from his order to return. He took on a new moniker as "The Black Sheep" for a few months until he completely vanished after his order revealed that evidence was found on his cell phone and other documents indicating misconduct unbecoming of a priest.  A cult seemed to has developed around his persona and often conflict with other Catholics.
