Carol Rice has over 20 years of experience in dealing with conflict management in both the private and public sectors. With a focus on providing interactive strategies for dealing with difficult people, Ms. Rice has a strong desire to work with members of the military who are experiencing problems that are unique to Soldiers and their families. As the daughter of a career Army officer and the wife of an Air Force veteran, she understands, firsthand, the impact that being a part of the military family can have on relationships. As an owner/partner in Conflict Resolution Academy in Atlanta, GA, she has made it her goal to empower people to make decisions in their own best interest and to help them resolve their disputes at the lowest level possible. Ms. Rice puts strong emphasis on early intervention and alternate dispute resolution options in her work. She consults with a wide variety of clients dealing with relationship issues in a variety of settings, and has helped them find productive ways to nurture those relationships that are important to them.
Silver Lining Villages has been developed to deal with the veterans who have been unable to come to grips with reintegrating into society and due to the demons many face from the horrors of war, find themselves on the street, homeless, and possibly even carrying thoughts of suicide.
