Beverly Cunningham It is happening behind closed doors. The closed doors of ministers, police officers, teachers and everyday citizen's - domestic violence - and people are suffering in silence. Roderick Cunningham plans to change that. Almost a year this month, his Mother, Beverly was gunned to death by her husband in a domestic dispute. After her passing, Roderick used his "mourning for motivation" and started the non-profit, Beverly Cunningham Outreach Program where their motto is "Silent No More" located in Lithonia, Georgia, in commemoration of his mother and as a memorial of change to come for children, women, and in many cases men who suffer in silence. Nothing is scarier on this weekend than knowing someone will not survive a deadly incident involving domestic violence.
