Black Valedictorians Face White Fragility

Across the country in the south, Black high school seniors have been challenged and questioned about their academic achievements when they have been selected as the schools valedictorian or salutatorian. In some cases, the Black student has either been removed from the honor, or have been made to accept a white student as co-valedictorian or salutatorian.
