WANTED - 44 Snake Oil Sales Agents to Pass the BC Budget

By Sal Vetro

One less non-compliant MLA and the BC Budget, in a non-confidence vote is defeated.

This latest BC Budget could have provided an extra few dollars to people with disabilities, seniors and autistic children. But, all we got were false promises and a pie in the sky prosperity fund anticipated revenues sometime in 2020. Instead, we have wasted taxpayer dollars being spent on a 15-million-dollar BC Liberal propaganda campaign, and a 12-million-dollar Bollywood festival, which has no track record of success. All to buy Indo-Canadian votes in the looming provincial election. Is this a wise expenditure of taxpayer dollars? I think not.

Our party, BC First, has a responsibility and a mandate to inform British Columbians of an incompetent, mismanaged, out-of-control government with no transparency or accountability to taxpayers.  I don’t think the taxpayers will fall for the same old line, which goes, “Just trust us and accept what we tell you as the truth.”

To ‘Have Your Say’ about the new BC Budget, tune into the ‘BC Politics Blog Talk Radio Show this Wednesday, February 20th  from 7-9:00pm. This week’s special guest will be BC First’s resident economic advisor, Erik Andersen. Andersen, now retired, will break down and explain what the budget means to BC’s working class and their families. I’m thinking we’re looking at higher taxes and more fees. What do you think? Call in and let us know.

THIS WEEK’S SPECIAL GUEST

Erik Andersen, Retired Economist
