Part 2: Close Up Radio Welcomes Back Tia Buckham-White of Notre Internationale

    in Business

Atlanta, GA - Leaders committed to building inclusive, self-aware teams will be poised to meet the challenge of changing worldwide workforce dynamics and demographics in 2024 and beyond, according to Notre Internationale founder Tia Buckham-White.
With the number of Generation Z employees expected to eclipse Baby Boomers at work this year, “experts agree the once-assumed natural order of the workplace will never return to pre-pandemic norms,” explains Buckham-White. “To remain profitable, global leaders are evolving to meet the needs of the coming generations, instead of relying on seasoned employees with decades of institutional knowledge to keep the business running.”
Buckham-White continues, “What makes 2024 so interesting is that this new generation of employees has expectations beyond monetary compensation, and they are not motivated by the same ‘carrots’ earlier workers found attractive. Instead, they’re looking for the authentic connections and inclusive environments self-aware leaders can deliver.”
Buckham-White knows what she’s talking about. Since 2012, her company, Notre Internationale, has taught leaders how to use self-awareness and other skills to work with their teams to directly and positively impact the business bottom line.
Notre Internationale offers HXM (Human Experience Management) consulting and programmatic leadership development based on self-awareness for business and nonprofit executives.
“For us,” Buckham-White explains, “Getting up every day to consult with the largest companies in the world is my definition of success.”

FOUTH FRIDAY WITH MARYLYN HARRIS - HELPING WOMEN VETERANS & VETERANS SPOUSE

    in Business News

Marylyn R. Harris is a highly accomplished healthcare professional, nurse, social entrepreneur, educator, and cybersecurity practitioner. She is a U.S. Army Gulf War Veteran with over 30 years of experience as a veterans advocate. Marylyn served 11 years in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Saudi Arabia in 1990 to support Operation Desert Shield/Storm. During the war, she worked as a Nurse Supervisor in a Field Hospital's Medical Intensive Care Unit, where she provided nursing care to U.S. and allied service members and POWs. After being honorably discharged from the army in 1992, Marylyn transitioned to a successful career in healthcare and education, starting a healthcare/HIT consulting firm in 2007, called Harrland Healthcare Consulting, LLC. The company is now rebranding and evolving into a healthcare cybersecurity firm.
In 2010, Marylyn started the country's first Women Veterans Business Center (WVBC), with a mission "to educate and empower women veterans (and military families) to start and grow wealth-generating veteran-owned businesses." Her efforts launched a national movement of women veteran-owned businesses throughout the U.S. and abroad. In 2013, she was honored at the White House by President Barack Obama for this pivotal work. Today, Marylyn holds leadership roles in both companies and serves with many veteran organizations. Marylyn was previously appointed as a nationally appointed Advisory Board Member to the U.S. Small Business Administration (Veterans Business Affairs Committee) and with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Research Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans Illnesses).

Close Up Radio Spotlights Women Moving Forward and Susan Van Vleet Consulting

    in Work

Thousand Oaks, CA - The workforce is changing, exacerbating old problems and creating new ones, especially for women and families. Susan Van Vleet has dedicated her career to empowering women in the workforce, and with 44 years under her belt, she is changing women’s lives worldwide. Clients have shared that her consulting business is their best-kept secret.
Women Moving Forward® workshops address personal problems. “We’ve learned that 50% or more of what women must address to be successful are their own internal issues—their backgrounds, culture, family of origin, family issues. Once they deal with these personal issues, dealing with business issues is much easier to handle. We’ve learned that women (and men) cannot deal with external conflict successfully until we deal with internal conflict.”
Women can also soak up Susan and her clients’ wisdom from her book, Women Moving Forward® 12 Years of the Women’s Leadership Retreat Concepts, available on Amazon. This guidebook presents twenty-seven innovative concepts that help women live with intention to create a happy life.
Susan’s husband, John Van Vleet, a seasoned psychologist, is doing breakthrough work with men. His course, Men, Relationships, and Work© is very popular in the US and EU. His Advanced Men’s Course©, has also been a huge hit with the 2024 course focusing on how men are not doing well right now and what to do about it.
