In the course of 1.5 years, Shannon juggled teaching at Brooklyn College in the graduate program, finishing her own gradate degree in Biology Education (getting out with a 4.0!), working full-time as a NYC public school teacher, and building a highly successful stationery business through blogging and networking with others online. She decided to turn the ship around and relaunch as The Writing Whisperer in November of 2012. And as of June 26, 2013, she has left her teaching career and is now running her business full-time!
